Throughout the run, you will travel through time in the captivating tunnels of the Eğin Stone Road. Each of the 31 tunnels carved into the rock will take you to a different era. Between the tunnels and through more than 60 ventilation windows, you will witness the magnificent view of the Euphrates River. The cool breeze of the rushing Euphrates will ease your fatigue and give you energy.

Course Notes
- Water will be available at the 5, 10.5 and 16 km points. Along the 2 km stretch between Kemaliye and the university there are fountains (last 1 km, 500 m, 250 m, etc.).
- Some tunnels are 300 m long and dark; you must run with a headlamp during the day.
- There is no GSM coverage in 90% of the tunnels.
- The first and last 3.5 km are hard ground (paving stone, asphalt). After the Sandık village junction the surface is compacted soil or cut rock, with occasional potholes and water puddles.
