This hike is much more than an ordinary nature walk. Beginning with a 900-metre climb in the first 5 kilometres, this adventure follows historic routes used for centuries — such as Eğin Gabanı and Sandık Gabanı — to bring you to the summit. The magnificent view at the top will make you forget all your fatigue.
An average hiker is expected to complete it in 5–6 hours.

Important Notes
- Those hiking freely during the year may call a taxi to Sandık Village or the Şırzı Bridge and walk the route in reverse, starting from Sandık Village.
- Altitude (1/3 of the route is above 1200 m, 1/5 is at 1700–2000 m), wind, insufficient fluid intake, unfamiliarity with rough terrain and difficulty following the trail can extend the time by 10%–80%.
- No timing or classification is made for the Eğin Mountain Trail Hike. A digital certificate is given to those who finish.
